    That's strange--it works great in my Firefox & IE. Is your browser able to find the .class file directly from:

    http://www.nokturno.org/hennessy/jabber.class

    yes,
    it's there

    it works ok
    with firefox (NB.8.1),
    but not with MSIE -- it might be a java permissions thing in settings(?)

    anyway, great piece -- very fast in java (vs javascript) -- cool!

    Thanks for testing the piece, Ted, I really appreciate it.

    There aren't many settings on the server side I can tweak (for instance no unix-like chmod's on our Windows server), so I just hope that as many readers as possible are able to enjoy the piece. :)
